Opened in 1990 and located between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the heart of Walt Disney World, the 1,509-room Dolphin (a Sheraton-managed hotel) is a full service, convention-oriented luxury resort. The Michael Graves designed property has a triangular, 27-story structure and four nine-story guest wings that extend from the main building, making it one of the largest structures on Walt Disney World property. A pedestrian causeway through Crescent Lake links the hotel with its sister property, the Swan. Together, the Swan and Dolphin comprise a convention complex with over 329,000 square feet of meeting space including an 111,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall and a 56,000 sq. ft. ballroom.
